Pulse Academy Haiti

Pulse Martial Arts Haiti is a school founded by Master Emerson Wong on his humanitarian mission with the Build Abroad program in 2016. Originally the plan was to bring martial arts equipment to help benefit schools in the small town of Pignon, Haiti where Master Wong does his charitable work. The project ended up being a lot larger when he met a very hardworking, passionate, Haitian martial artist with a dream of opening his own school. Master Wong saw an opportunity to help instructor Lemes with his dream by finding a small building, paying the rent and his salary, so that any child in Pignon, Haiti could learn martial arts without ever paying.

Master Wong promised to support the school he created in Haiti for as long as people want to train there. In 1 year the school has grown to over 60 students and there are plans now to expand the school to an even larger building. Each year Master Wong returns to Haiti to teach his students and find other opportunities to help benefit the community and their people.
